Aerodynamics Research Engineer

  • Design and aero-propulsive performance assessment of an innovative engine integration concept for Airbus (including a secondment period at Airbus Toulouse from March to June 2017)
  • Design of the NOVA configurations, representative of a 2025 transport aircraft with innovative UHBR engine integration options (preliminary and detailed aerodynamic design, performance prediction, supervision of wind-tunnel model manufacturing, contribution to communication campaign)
  • Development of an advanced Turbine Powered Simulator (TPS) for wind-tunnel testing of future UHBR and boundary-layer ingesting engines
  • In the frame of the Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft (SFWA) project, part of the Clean Sky european initiative : management of department activities in a workpackage; design of a BLI S-duct inlet for the central nacelle of the Dassault Aviation HSBJ bizjet model and monitoring of HSBJ wind-tunnel test campaign at ONERA S1MA in November 2016
  • Leadership of an internal research project on boundary layer ingestion and distributed electric propulsion (assessment of different levels of propulsive systems modeling and of an exergy-based approach for power saving quantification, evaluation of impact on handling qualities)
  • Driving force of CFD best practice evolution (software trainer, intern supervision)
  • Appointed as ONERA delegate for IFAR (International Forum for Aviation Research) Early Career Network
